Tom Rhyne Apiary Dedication Ceremony
On March 25, 2023 we held an Apiary Dedication Ceremony at Halyburton Park to honor Tom Rhyne.
Tom served as NHCBA president 2018-2019. He worked towards our goal of having bees in a public setting. Unfortunately he lost his battle against cancer before our ribbon cutting ceremony. The NHCBA wanted to honor Tom’s love and passion for the honey bee by dedicating the hives at Halyburton in his honor! The ceremony was attended by Tom’s family members, his wife Cathy, daughter Cameron, his grandchildren and his brother. Many friends and members of the NHCBA attended as well. An engraved granite plaque was donated by Rusty and Mary Jo Holt.
