March 2026 Meeting Recap: Swarms and Looking Ahead

At our March meeting, we welcomed Eric Talley, Master Craftsman Beekeeper and coordinator for the NCSBA Master Beekeeper Program. Eric shared his expertise on honeybee swarm behavior and swarm catching, offering valuable insights for both new and experienced beekeepers. We appreciate him taking the time to share his knowledge with our group.

We also heard from NHCBA President William Bost, who presented the board’s vision for transitioning the club into a 501(c)(3) organization. He spoke about the importance of member involvement and the need for volunteers to help move this effort forward.

It’s an exciting step for our association, and we’re looking forward to what’s ahead. Stay tuned for more details on this initiative in an upcoming post.
