Potluck, Q&A, and Celebrating Our Beekeepers
Our July meeting brought everyone together for a potluck filled with good food, conversation, and plenty of beekeeping knowledge!
We were excited to recognize William Bost, President, and Barb Ledoux, Secretary, for achieving their Journeyman Level accomplishment. Congratulations to them both!
We also opened the floor for questions and discussion with our panel of Master Beekeepers: David, Susan, Mary, and John. Members asked about everything from when to remove honey supers and reducing honey moisture content to feeding, mite treatments, hive locations, and preparing colonies for winter. The answers were varied, and the discussion was lively and informative!
